Such a cute cafe for drinks and dessert. I loved every cake that I ate here and even visited 3 days in a row! The owners were very kind and welcoming. One owner spoke English to me when I needed help ordering and also gave me lots of grace as I tried my best to order in basic level Korean.

I got the yummy matcha chocolate cake and mugwort latte on the first visit, and then the black sesame latte with pumpkin/ purple sweet potato cake on my 2nd visit. Not pictured are the delicious black sesame cake and blueberry cheesecake that I also got as takeout items. I comfortably sat inside and outside in the patio during my visits, and had a relaxing time reading a book and enjoying my treats.

The bakery is small, quaint and cute and still can accommodate small groups of people who are meeting up. I visited during a non-peak season during midweek hours and was usually 1 out of 3 customers dining in. I highly recommend visiting here, even if itโ€™s just for a quick stop for takeout. It is a bit out of the way from Aewol-up, but SO worth the drive. I had a rental car, but I did see bus stops nearby. Again, I want to say this Vegan bakery is delicious and has many gluten-free options. All of the displayed cakes were gluten-free and the non-GF items were some cookies or tarts.

Overall, PengoHoda is a worthwhile stop to...

What an incredible vegan gem! It's a little far out from the typical tourist spots along the coast, but it's easy enough to take the bus to and from the cafe. The employee working there was so sweet and friendly, and the aesthetics of the cafe and food presentation are absolutely beautiful. We got the green tea & macademia nut cookie, sweet corn cheese cake, mugwort and black sesame cake, mugwort soy latte, and passionfruit & pineapple ade. All the baked goods were so unique and delicious and not too sweet. They paired so well with the latte. You can tell the owner of the cafe is passionate about living a sustainable, plant-based, healthy vegan lifestyle. I wish I could come here every day! I'm so glad this cafe exists, especially on an island like Jeju where vegan options aren't the most accessible. Thank...

Incredible gluten-free bakery on Jeju Island. It's a plant-based bakery with gluten-free options and incredible shots of coffee. Definitely worth the stop if anybody is vegan or gluten-free or wants incredible coffee

Run by two sisters who move from Seoul they've done a spectacular job and freshly bake all of their pastries daily, and it definitely shows in, the beauty and taste...
