This was our favorite restaurant until today. The situation was the following: whenever we go out, we carry our dog in his respective backpack so as not to bother anyone, and we also worry that our dog has walked enough to be able to sleep while we eat. We have gone countless times, and we have not had any problems. Still, today, the manager, upon noticing the backpack, told us that we were with a cat because it was causing an allergy to the clients (two people who had arrived minutes ago). Hence, we told him We said that we brought a dog that is also a hypoallergenic breed, but he told us that due to policies, we must eat on the patio; we accepted so as not to ruin our visit, but still angry that it was the first time that the presence of our dog had bothered him. We went to eat on the patio, and in that place, there is no waiting server nor is there a button that can call the staff, so if we needed something we had to go back into the place and call someone to...
Read moreEdit May 2025: I've lowered my score to 3. While other more authentic Mexican places come onto the scene, Tomatillo seems to be regressing. The enchiladas are poorly filled, the beans are soupy, and the rice is dry.
The shrimp tacos are served on wheat tortillas (corn tortillas are pretty common these days) and the ingredients are too big for the small tortillas. It's just a mess.
I think it's time to move past the first wave of Mexican restaurants in Korea. There are plenty of better choices out there these days.
Old review: The food was pretty good, but expensive. 14,000 for a burrito and 5,000 for a cup of soup. A lotta lettuce in the burrito
It'd also be nice if the employees didn't touch my stuff with wet hands. I don't like having to dry my credit card off...
Read moreMy rating: 8.0/10. This was a nice lunch spot for a western style meal. I went with a very large group and sat on the 2nd floor which offered a nice view of the ocean. We all had preordered for convenience but it took a little while for the food to come out after we got there, the vegetarian meals in particular. The staff were also a little slow with some of our other requests and said they were quite busy, despite the restaurant not being more than 50% full (maybe they had low staff or lots of online orders). We didn’t try much of the Mexican food, but the burgers were very good, especially since we had only had Korean food for the previous week and were looking for something different. Overall, I would go back for the food and the views, and was quite happy with...
