As a foreigner, I stumbled upon this true gem. They are famous for their Dongtaetang (Frozen Pollock stew ) or Gamjatang (potatoes & pork bone stew), both which are available in single portions which is rare especially in more traditional parts of S. Korea. The ahjummas are especially hospitable and their service will make you feel really at home.

The banchan taste delicious, you can tell that they take great care in preparing each one. It's quite hard to find the same quality in the city.

I say go for the Pollock stew at least once, it's pretty flaky & meaty, as gamjatang is very easily accessible elsewhere. Take a sip of soju and drink some of the broth. It's supposed to warm you...
