Donkey and I were so excited to visit Gomggom Kkotdarak after seeing its amazing Google reviews. The photos and vibes made us want to come here, and we weren't disappointed!
The cafe has a super charming and Instagrammable atmosphere. The indoor space is beautifully decorated, with lots of cute details and cosy corners. There's even a designated photography area marked off with a "Photography Only" sign. It's a great place to snap some pics. We loved the outdoor garden too. It's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the fresh air, with lots of photography opportunities.
We really enjoyed the food. It was delicious and beautifully presented. We had , a Tangerine latte, Green tangerna rare cheesecake and a special local dish called Tangerine yanggaeng. Everything was so yummy.

Read moreDisappointing experience. We came here after seeing this café on TikTok, but it didn’t live up to the hype. When we arrived, we were told to wait outside under the sun — first they said it would be 10 minutes, but we ended up waiting 30.
When it was finally our turn, they gave us a table for 2 — even though we were 4 people. We politely asked to move to a nearby bigger table (which was empty), but the staff refused and later gave it to a group of 3 locals.
At the counter, we tried to order 3 drinks and 2 desserts, but the staff insisted that each person must order at least one drink, which was strange — especially since one of us is a 10-year-old child who just wanted dessert. The staff spoke to us in a rude and cold way, and acted like they didn’t understand us when we explained.
The table was too small for us, the atmosphere felt tense, and we decided to leave without ordering.
Also, the café is full of people doing long personal photo shoots — inside and outside — so it’s not a relaxing space at all.
There are so many better cafés in Jeju. Don’t waste your time here. 🙌🏼

Read moreCafé Gyulkkot Darak is an absolute gem and a must-visit if you’re in Jeju. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked waffles — it instantly lifted my mood and awakened my senses. The space is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches that make it feel cozy yet refined, and the music playing in the background adds to the calming, welcoming vibe.
I ordered the tangerine latte and the cheesecake — both were phenomenal. The latte had the perfect balance of citrusy brightness and creamy richness, truly capturing the essence of Jeju’s famous tangerines. The cheesecake was smooth, not too sweet, and paired wonderfully with the drink.
One of the highlights was discovering their outdoor garden. It’s spacious, peaceful, and filled with little nooks and private spots where you can relax and enjoy your treats surrounded by nature. It’s the kind of place where time slows down.
Whether you’re a café lover, a dessert enthusiast, or just looking for a quiet retreat during your Jeju trip, Café Gyulkkot Darak is a place you’ll want to return to. I left feeling refreshed, inspired,...
