DODO CAFE — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

I was on my way back to my nearby guesthouse one evening when I noticed this place. It was beautiful at night and they had a sign for “Coffee and Brunch” so I decided I’d have breakfast there the next morning. There was plenty of parking for me the next day, and the cafe had a nice buzz; not crowded but maybe five families and couples happily eating. The interior was beautiful and calming; very chill music vibes. I ordered the breakfast for one and an iced cafe mocha. Both were excellent! I loved that my mocha had a heavy cream float on top rather than whipped cream. The beans on toast were the sleeper of my meal, as was the ever so slightly spiced tomato sauce in the middle of the platter. Love this cafe we come across. Cafe dodo by English name. Tastefully done decor with lots of Asian influence. Good drinks menu and brunch menu of big breakfast and burger. The highlight is surely its bakery. Signature salted bread selling at 1k won per piece. Best when eat hot. You see the butter liquid melting within it when you cut open it. Super fragrant butter melt with salty taste. The salted bread is quickly sold out once it is out of oven. Cosy restaurant and loving it. Even toilet is thoughtfully designed. Went there almost every day during my stay in Jeju and I loved everything about it. They sell some pastries in the front area, everything I tasted (cinnamon roll, chocolate cookie and madeleine) was exceptionally good. Also got the Dodo-Brunch twice and it was the best thing I ate in a very long time. Sooooo good 😍 The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and the whole atmosphere was great.
