Stayed at Bayhill Pool & Villa for 4 nights & extremely enjoyed this hotel. Loved the design of the building & gardens however the gardens were not maintained as well as we expected for such a fabulous resort.|All the staff were extremely helpful, spoke & understood English beautifully which made it that much easier to communicate throughout our stay. A special thanks to Choi Won Hyeok who went above & beyond to assist us with all our questions & requests. However all reception staff were extremely polite, professional & a joy to talk to.|We arrived quite late at night as the front desk is manned 24 hours & we were greeted by a lovely staff member who briefed us on everything & made us feel immediately welcomed. The room was extremley clean & very spacious, bed & pillows were super comfy & we loved that the room had a kitchenette & coffee machine. We booked a Studio Partial Ocean View room & not really sure how I overlooked this detail during our stay but our room did not have any view let alone a partial ocean view as advertised but to be completely honest it did not take away from our experience as we were hardly ever in our room, so be sure you do get what you book. As the summer season had finished the pool area was closed & was not able to be used which was a little dissappointing as coming from Australia we swim all year round given the opportuinty especially when the weather is warm. Although the hotel is in a very quiet location it is in walking distance to the beach, convenience stores, a few good restaurants & bus stops so for us it was perfect. We contacted the front desk as we thought there was an issue with a leaky toilet, they called the maintenance person immediately who informed us the issue was the shower & not the toilet & it was fixed immediately without any inconvenience at all. We enjoyed 1 breakfast & a few dinners at the in house restaurant Narnia & here the staff were also very friendly & professional so would recomend this too, not fancy, yet not expensive either. If you are looking for a relaxed stay in a great hotel I would highly recommend to couples, family with young, teenaged or adult kids & we would not hesitate to return if we...
Read moreVisited Jeju with my friends and choose to stay in hill suite for 2 days and I loved it. After touring for 9 days in Seoul,2 days inJeju were suppose to be out relaxing days. Villa was in near sea away from all tall buildings and traffics. We hired rental car so, it was easier for us to reached in this villa from Jeju airport (Need own car to reached in this destination). We flew to Jeju early morning and reached in Villa hours early but Staff in reception were so nice and friendly and seen him with happy face (Evan). Our room wasnt ready so, he offered us tea & biscuits while waiting in lounge (Alice & wonderland theme). He explained everything in details about hotels and surroundings. Well spoken english. Got to out Villa and it was beautiful. Open area well furbished, even have bluetooth speakers provided, Clean, sea view rooms(both), complimentry drinks (cokes, waters, beers), enough cutlery and plates provided in kitchen drawers, microwaves, jacuzzi outside(needs 2 hrs to fill up), double swings in balcony to look at sea view and sunsets. All toiletries were proveded by them including toothbrush, paste, comb, shower caps etc. Few local resturants available near villa but there are convenience store near to buy snacks. Booked Afternoon tea for next day with Group of 4 people. You have to try their Afternoon tea it was nothing like British Afternoon tea. It cost 50,000 won for 2 and it worth it everything was lovely staff were friendly well spoken english again. We decided to have takeaways for dinner in our own villa but we didnt know any place and couldnt speak any korean language so staff from reception offered to help us more then happy to order it for us. FYI there are only 2 who delivers chicken shop and chinese so, did both they deliver straight to doors. Overall everything went great and we dont regret spending money on for this villa. It all worth it. Thank you very much Bayhill Pool & Villa. We would def visit again in future if we come to...
Read moreWhen I checked in, the staff was not welcoming at all and it took a while (15mins although there was no line at the lobby) to get help to check in. ||||And then at check-in we were told there would be an issue with the AC because of the warm weather (like 90F definitely not 100F) and if water drips from the AC and the ceiling around it so much they will bring the towel to the room and the situation will be better at night. I was frustrated but at that time, my family and I were already so exhausted and it was obviously too late to change the plan with all hotels in the area booked out in advance.||||And yes the THE WHOLE FLOOR WAS FLOODED EVEN DURING NIGHT and I needed to request bunch of towels several times and kept wiping the floor. And WORST PART WAS THAT THE ROOM WAS NOT BEING COOLED IN SUMMER NIGHT.||||I paid like $700 per night to stay there. This is not the service I expect paying like this. And if room has a serious problem, they should have given me different room or let me know in advance so I can cancel booking. ||||I sent an email to them after coming back from vacation and they KEEP SAYING it's NATURAL to have that issue (Come on. I have never had that issue in my life no matter how warm it is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They should have maintained facility better and if there is an issue, they need to fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). According to them SINCE ALL OTHER CUSTOMERS UNDERSTOOD THAT (so what??? should i just shut up crying????) they cannot do any action. They offered they are going to send a small gift (what gift???? name it!) if I agree or in the future, if I stay there there will be some discount (of course I don't want to stay there in the future). This kind of customer service attitude is not expected even from a mass market producer, not to mention the hospitality industry. The A/C problem and the way the hotel has handled it has ruined my family reunion and I highly recommend to avoid this hotel...
