Hwan’s Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

Hwann’s Italian Restaurant is unexpectedly charming and cozy place with fantastic food and lovely, top-notch service. We found out from the server that the building used to be an old bank as we were seated next to the vault door. We had fun taking pictures “cracking the safe.”

We ordered a small salad and the lasagna and both were absolutely delicious. High quality ingredients handled brilliantly from a very adept chef. Highly recommend you eat here while in Jeju.

The interior is really cute filled with charming and interesting things. You can tell the owner is “living his dream here.” The love is felt in the food.

Impromptu plan to visit this Italian restaurant and thankfully managed to get seats. Very nicely furnished place and the food is amazing! The bread served were so soft and fresh. We stopped in for the pesto, but turns out that it is a summer dish. The alternatives were delightful though! We got the funghi with cream sauce and the gamberoni (mushroom cream sauce with prawns). Delightful! And, to top it all off, the serving staff was lovely as well....
