Sun and Moon Resort — Hotel in Seogwipo-si

Stayed at this very pleasant and family-friendly resort property recently and had a blast of a time. Booked two family rooms for our travel party of six adults (including two elderly) and three kids. Everyone enjoyed the stay. ||||The rooms are clean and tidy; and very spacious! Our family room has two queen sized bed, plus enough space for a roll out bed.. and there is even a 'family' room for tea and meals. The property has a large open grass space where guests can sit on inflatable lounge chairs to enjoy their drinks, kids get to play games like badminton, traditional Korean games or simply play with water bubbles. AND guests can rent (free of charge) portable BBQ pits too! With a cool breeze at this time of the year @temperature of about 20 degrees... you could see many guests enjoying a cool evening at this open space. ||||The sea shore is just a short walk across a small road in front of the property. And there is a convenience store that is one min drive or about 8-10 mins walk. Plus several restaurants and cafes about 5 mins drive.||||The hosts, Julie and Michael (older brother) and their mom are simply superb and so very hospitable. They definitely made everyone of us feel right at home. Julie even helped us prepare a customized itinerary a few weeks before we arrived, including places to eat, and the telephone numbers of the places so that we can key into our GPS and finding these places was a breeze!!! And oh we all enjoyed the breakfasts. We were told Julie's mom made/ baked most of the pastries and breads.. and her specialty is the custard creamed croissants !! ||||All in all, this is one of our best stays amongst the many places we stayed in our family travels around the world.||||I will definitely recommend...

We booked for three days and two nights. Didn’t expect much because we were able to get a room with a bath for only 208usd total including breakfast, but we were so surprised when we arrived! It’s just a short walk from the bus station that takes you from Jeju to Seogwipo, but the view is gorgeous right by the beach. What I was most impressed with was the cleanliness and quality of service! I’ve never been to a hotel room that felt as clean as here! Not only the bed, kitchen area, floor (you still get slippers, but it seemed very clean even so), but also the bathroom, I didn’t see the slightest bit of mold or water streaks at all. They were so kind at the front and were very patient helping us out in English, had recommendations of places to go, and responded via Whatsapp quickly when I contacted them about our early checkout. The room was also very spacious, pretty in design, bright, and the perfect vibe with all the items we needed and more for a short stay! Location was perfect as well, it was so quiet, but peaceful and beautiful! I will definitely recommend this place to my parents next time they decide to take a trip out!

Stayed 3 nights. It is located at the southern side of Jeju island and was a short few km drive to the beautiful songaksan trail (do visit and do the complete return trail of around 2.5km! less than 2hrs with quite alot of steps but awesome cape views).

sumptious breakfast was served to room at around 8am. same menu everyday but so good. adequate parking at back of resort. i stayed at ground floor rooms with patio, perfect place for breakfast:)

all super friendly staff, especially the cute young lady on morning shift who gave us complimentary photoshoots before checkout:) They also provide a whatsapp contact for english support during the stay.

location wise, facing sea which was across the road! coastline was very suitable for walks/jogs. few eateries along the coast but a car would be better to bring you to livelier locations. nearest supermarket was about 10 to 15min drive away. there was a coin laundry place 5 to 10min walk away.

the only downside is the temperamental heater which gave me quite alot of cold baths. Also power sockets were limited at inconvenient locations but staff provided me with an extension which solved the issue. Notwithstanding i would love to visit sun and...
