A Cozy Ramen Gem in South Jeju!

We had the loveliest experience at Jojomomo! As non-locals, we were a little unsure if we’d find something to suit our diet—but to our delight, they had a chicken ramen option (a rare find!) and the chef went above and beyond to customize it just the way we like it – less spicy, but still full of rich flavor.

The atmosphere was cozy and what really made our evening was a short but sweet chat with the chef about food, family, and local flavors. His friendliness and passion for his craft really shined through in the bowl he served us.

Out of all of the restaurants we've ventured to over our 6 wks in South Korea & Japan, I'd have to say Jojomomo was the most delicious. I'm certain Anthony Bourdain would've featured Jojomomo for its authentic, local cuisine. This quaint 8-seat, counter-style, off-the-beaten path, is very traditional, but the experience of watching the chef prepare our meal, flambe black pork right in front of our counter, added to the authenticity of this special restaurant.
