표선해수욕장으로 향하는 해안도로를 달리다보면 멀리서도 눈에띄는 노란색건물이 하나 서있다. 1층의 자그마한 카페와 옆건물 2층의 아담한 책방이 함께 운영되는 곳으로, 책방의 주인이신 곰아저씨가 직접 집필한 '마음이 시키는 일만 하기로 했다' 라는 책 제목들이 카페내부와 외부 해안도로 돌담길에도 새겨져있다. 살짝은 빛바랜 인스타감성일수도 있지만 내부의 아기자기한 감성은 시대와 상관없이 모든이들에게 호의적으로 다가온다. 마당앞 또 다른 카페의 주견인 모카또한 사람만보면 꼬리가 끊임없이 돌아가고 두발로 높이뛰는 실력이 상당하여 세상에 이런일이에도 한번 출연한적이 있다고 들었다. 용담, 신창, 표선, 김녕 네곳의 해안도로중 개인적으로 가장 제주스럽고 제주도민의 일상을 엿볼수있는 표선을 가장선호하는데 그에 어울리는 카페라고 생각한다.

옛스러운 다양한 인테리어 소품이 돋보이는 레트로한 카페이다. 옛소품을 감상하며 커피한잔하고 올레4코스를 걸으면 좋다. visitjeju.net: 서귀포시 남원읍에 위치한 모카다방은 알록달록한 표지판과 노란색 간판으로 눈에 띄는 외관을 지니고 있다. 이 곳의 내부에는 전자제품, 식기구 등 다양한 종류의 구경하기 좋은 레트로한 소품들이 전시되어 있어 옛 추억을 떠올릴 수 있다. 그 외에도 여러 식물들과 바다가 보이는 통창을 지니고 있어 편한한 마음으로 음료와 디저트를 즐길 수 있으며 대표메뉴는 유기농 밀가루와 설탕을 사용하여 만든 귤블랑과 같은 디저트 메뉴들이다. 이 외에도 스무디, 에이드, 청귤차 등 다양한 제주의 식재료를 사용한 음료 들이 준비되어 있다.

We ordered 3 coffees, all with an extra shoot. We were told he couldn't do this. I said to my wife " let's forget about it" and we should have, but she persisted. We ordered 1 small long black and small 2 vanilla lattes, the cost ₩24,000 , which is about $27 aud. We couldn't believe it !!! And worst of all the coffee was terrible, 1 screaming hot and the other was Luke warm and only half a cup. It was the first and last time we ordered there!!

The next day, we tried another coffee shop, the coffee was nice, and the price was...

visit again? Never. 비싸고 일회용이고 불친절하고 유기농일까? 인증서는 있을까?싶다.

올 때마다 느끼는 건 불.친.절. 비.싸.다. 유기농이지만 서울 한복판보다 비.싸.다. 유기농이 아닌 미숫가루도 비.싸.다. 칠천원.

몸이 좋지않아 내려오셨다는데 그래서 직원을 둬서 가격이 비싼걸까? 직원분은 제주분보다 더 뚝뚝하다 시원한 음료는 유리컵에 담아야 한층 맛있는데 이마저도 일회용컵에 주시는 센스는.. 매장내 일회용컵 금지라지만.. 손님의 건강도 생각하는 센스..필요. . 관광객이 찾는 곳이지만

조금만 가격은 좀 다운 조금만 친절은 조금 좀 많이 upup 해주었으면..

유기농인증서는 없었다. 인증서도 걸어두심이..
