Muroi — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

An outstandingly beautiful cafe in a land of beautiful cafes. The all black facade looks avant-garde and industrial cool but step closer into the entrance courtyard and you'll find a beautiful garden with temperate plants.

There are fresh bakeries laid out in classy glass boxes when you enter. Pick what you like and pass it to the counter when ordering your coffee before finding a seat in the cavernous interior seating area or a spot in the interior garden.

There's also more seating in the 2 standalone buildings by the entrance.

Stylish cafe with more than ample seats.

It was clear that the central theme/intention of this cafe was about the outdoor garden with the seats all facing the floor-to-ceiling windows, which provided a great view of the garden in the winter (when we visited).

Accordingly, the baked goods were chosen and paid for whilst we waited in the nice picturesque view. Upon the buzzer beeping, we collected our very nicely crafted drinks and warmed up pastries to consume.

Got to say that the drinks and pastries were as delectable as the setting we were having it at.

Came to the Seogwipo branch at 10:30am and the cafe was stunning. The theme is an interesting dark concept which was very suitable for a rainy day visit. Inside, there is a long line of art on display which are also available for purchase.

Would highly recommend the financiers and egg tart, and basically everything they have on sale. Honestly I just wish that I have enough stomach space to try everything 🥹
