평양면옥 — Restaurant in Seoul

I had bibm naengmyeon for lunch... but, honestly, it tasted plain. There’s no original taste with noodles nor sauce.

I’m not sure why people so crazy about this noodles in Korea. I liked the subtle taste of its sauce but this restaurant didn’t have ‘it’ in the sauce. Since I don’t eat red meat, I couldn’t taste the noodles with beef broth but still there was no taste of the original noodles.

If u really want to taste good naengmyeon, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

When I entered the restaurant, the staff was little bit rude(?)... I can’t say he was rude, but not well mannered to host the customers. He was standing and not looking at me and say sit wherever I want and ignored right after. So... it’s confusing whether he was rude or... I’m not sure, but those lady staff who served my table were super nice. Then there was another staff when I paid... he was definitely rude. I said ‘Thanks’ and he ignored me! LOL

It is very difficult to carry a life in Korea unless you were born and resident...

Worst food experiences at Seoul. I hoped chief called in today... food was not warm, really bad service. It is unblemished to maintain store in Shinsega department store which is very famous. Sorry for this review....
