local EAT — Restaurant in Seoul

I loved the concept even before the visit. Good ingredients are critical to make good dishes. Local Eats brings farm to table. We ordered vegetable stack, spinach gnocchi, eggplant lasagna, ragu rigatoni, and tiramisu. They were all very tasty. The vegetable terrine was my favorite. Ah, we also had ABC juice which was quite sweet..

The down side of this restaurant ... The dishes come out all at the same time. If you want to slowly enjoy the hot meal, you should order accordingly. The bathroom is located outside and you have to carry a key to open. Think about it. You are touching the key which was touched by many people already. Not hygienic... No English menu.

Other than these, I really liked and plan to visit again in the near future.

I went there because a friend said its good food with local veggies produced nearby. Its only a regular italian food korean style. Dont bother to drive 1 hour from Seoul to go there. Plus ventilation is non-existant. Chef is cooking near serving tables without any ventilation when he's cooking. If u want to smell food cooking, its your choice but i know i will not go...

Satisfied 😌 But there are a question left after all. Is it worth? I can agree and somehow understand, what chef want to show and where he gives his value. However still it is too expensive. Maybe biggest portion of their price is restaurant rental cost?
