The ramen is incredible. It’s the best chicken broth based ramen I’ve ever had. The spicy broth has a creamy, Tonkotsu-like consistency with an amazing depth of flavor. The chicken is silky and moist with notes of fresh cracked pepper corn. The chashu is tender beyond belief and perfectly complements the rich chicken broth. We have visited this restaurant 4 times during our stay in Seoul! We tried the ramen in Tokyo just to see how it compares, and somehow still prefer this deluxe edition of the dish. Tried Kara Paitan Ramen with extra chashu and soft-boiled egg—super comforting after a long day. The broth was rich but not too heavy, and the chashu was tender and flavorful.
