When I visited this cold noodle specialty restaurant around noon on Sunday, I observed that there was already a standing waiting line for dining at this cold noodles establishment. Despite waiting 25 minutes, I regrettably discovered that the signature cold noodles set menu was sold out. Instead, I opted for the Pyongyang Cold Noodles, served with a small bowl of vinegary fermented mul kimchi and mustard and house vinegar sampling.

The soup broth initially resembled a clear beef stock, but as I continued to taste it, I sensed a familiar flavor that I couldn‘t quite place. The coarse texture of the cold buckwheat noodles indicated their low content of regular wheat flour, giving them a pleasantly healthy quality.

The restaurant was bustling with a lively and animated atmosphere as patrons savored their lunch, making it an intriguing and...

I've always had a love for traditional Korean cuisine, and naengmyeon (cold noodles) has been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. Among the different types, Pyeongyang naengmyeon stands out — it offers a delicate harmony between the rich, savory broth and the subtle, earthy flavor of the buckwheat noodles. There's a refined, almost understated beauty to it that feels distinctly Korean. Honestly, the meal here could easily rival the best-known spots in Seoul, like Wooraeok or...

Nice ambience and very personal service. The place is clean and well kept. Presentation is absolutely fabulous. Honestly I wasn't blown away with the broth for naengmyeon but it's decently flavorful. The crispy and savory nokdu bindaetteok is hands down the best Pyongyang-style nokdu bindaetteok I've ever tried. I liked the succulent beef suyuk as well. The only downside is the wait times. The restaurant is kind of small and very popular so it's extremely busy and somewhat understaffed...
