This upscale restaurant, Tamayura, the Pride of JW Marriott Seoul, stands for the faint sensation of spheres brushing against each other. It specializes in the refined Kaiseki cuisine, Sushi and Teppanyaki along with the exceptionally selected Sakes by its own Sake Sommelier.

The journey of flavors (named Sakaki for Dinner) starts with: Appetizer (Scallop and Japanese rolled omelet with Truffle): Very good Starter that stimulates taste and calls for Alcohol. Grilled Korean Beef Sirloin with Chives: Tender and savory with its sauce and vegetables. Grilled Crayfish with bisque sauce and Caviar: It is divine. The Crayfish is chewy and with its good texture, harmonious also with the sauce. Grilled Abalone with Sancho, Genovese style: Soft and exquisite. It matches well with Genovese sauce. Sorbet: Always wise menu configuration to have this Sorbet before the 2nd main menu. Korean Beef 1++ Tenderloin Steak with seasonal vegetables: It is tender and juicy with medium rare which is well matched just with wasabi or the grilled garlic. Fried rice with Whitebait and bean paste soup: It is the signature menu and it is very different style, very tasty. Dessert Icecream & seasonal fruit

Selected Sakes: TAMAYURA Tokubetsu Junmai and Mutsu-Hassen Junmai: Just like the reputation, the selected Sakes are helpful to guide this journey from the appetizer to the dessert.

The overall flow and speed are good and the balance and harmony between the dishes are excellent, inventive and confident! Staffs are attentive and professional. Special thanks to Ms. HJ Kim (Manager), Ms. SJ Kim (Vice Manager) for the top notch services. Prices may look expensive but it is the restaurant that makes the people who are with me feel like being treated well in a luxurious and elegant way, so it is recommended especially for couples...

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. The teppanyaki menu is really top notch. It changes seasonally, and it never disappoints. I was just there earlier today for dinner, and their new summer menu is delicious! I don’t eat meat, and the seafood I get through the courses is always well-balanced in terms of flavor and variety. If you haven’t been here before, it’s definitely somewhere to try out at least once!

This is one of the top quality Teppanyaki restaurant you can find in Korea. It is almost like michelin-starred restaurant in terms of how they serve, quality. Staffs are so attentive. They know what you need in every stage. all sea food are incredibly fresh. Prawn is so big, meaty, muscular texture to it. beef is a liitle bit chewy but ok taste to me. Overall, you can enjoy a quality of sea food and some entertainment of how they cook...
