대포면옥 — Restaurant in Sokcho-si

We picked this Korean restaurant as we wanted in authentic Korean eating experience. As we entered, we were greeted with a bow and a Korean menu. We were very happy not to be handed in English menu as there is more excitement when you do not know what you’re ordering. We ordered three random dishes and were met with an assortment of side dishes that accompanied our dishes. We ended up enjoying sliced pork lettuce wraps, cold buckwheat noodles and and an absolutely delicious, hot flavorful, exuberant bowl of udon noodle Ramen. There is a push button on the side of the table when you need more service. When I clicked on it, the host came running to the table side. I asked for a beer which she probably delivered and even opened it for me. It was served with an ice cold glass, making the beer extra refreshing. We heard great things about this restaurant, so we decided to walk from sokcho beach to eat here. Let me tell you… it’s so worth the walk off the beaten path to eat at! They have delicious cold noodles, tender pork, and delicious soup broth! Don’t forget all the side dishes that come with the meal as well! The service was fast and the servers were attentive. 맛이깔끔하고 매우 친절합니다. 현재싸지 경험한 다양한 속초의 냉면집중 맛에서 가장 최고, 친절도에서 가장 최고입니다. 물론 다른면에서는 아쉬운 점들도 있긴하지만.

가자미회 냉면은 인공 조미료의 느낌없이 깔끔하고 산뜻하게 느껴졌습니다. 살짝 단맛이 나고 깔끔하며 그다지 맵지는 않습니다. 가자미회가 그렇게 많지는 않았지만 적다고 할 정도도 아니었습니다.조금 아쉬운 정도. 면발은 다른집과 별로 차이나지 않습니다.

속초에서 지금떳 먹었던 냉면들중에서 가장 마음이 갑니다.

직원들은 매우 매우 친절하며 알아서 필요한것들을 채워주며 천결한 느낌의 음식을 제공합니다.(다른 냉면집들은 조금 나이 많은 사람들이 서빙하는 경우가 많은데 이곳의 서빙은 젊은 분들이 합니다.)

또 하나의 메뉴였던 떡만두국도 좋았습니다. 딱히 무엇인지 집어내긴 어려울만큼 돋보이가나 하진 않았는데, 먹다보니 국물조차 마저 다 마셔버리게 되더군요.

다만 이 집에도 몇가지 아쉬운 점들이 았습니다. 첫째 찾아들어갈때 조금 난감합니다. 도로에서 벗어나 앞에 있는 큰 건물 뒤로 가야하는데 옆의 가게랑 조금 헛갈립니다.

들어가면 나쁘지 않은게 가게앞은 농기구들도 누저분하게 있어서 어수선해보이고 지저분해 보입다. 문에 부착되어있는 모범음식점 라벨을 보기전까지는 들어갈까 말까 망설여야 했습니다.

화장실에 대해 가족이야기로는 출입문은 한개였는데 그 안에 변기는 2개있어서...
