We visited as guests in The Himalayan Rastaurant waegwan for dinner just yesterday. As soon as we entered into the restaurent, the owner Mr Santosh Dahal welcomed us standing with gentle smile. Soon he directed us to the table beside window from where we could see out scenario. In my personal view, The restaurant is very peaceful and its service is excellent. Moreover, the owner and other staffs are very talkative, emiable, clean and fast. Personally I like its little library, Nepali musical instruments (Madal, Bansuri), meditative sound-bowels, Nepali national-dress-wearing dommies infront of the entrance gate and the big poster of beautiful Hillside-scene on the inner wall. Read moreWe sat down at a table, and were not givin menus until we got up and got them ourselves, water came out really late, there was only one lady there serving, cooking, and cashiering, so we tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, butttt we ordered an appetizer and yogurt drink and the appetizer came out with the food 40 mins later and so did the drink and it was warm, the rice was a little stiff, and the lady never came out the kitchen to check on us, we had to go get her from the back for 2 tiny to go boxes and to cash out, she charged for Togo boxes, then later took them off because i complained, and her system was down and she kept asking for different cards saying it was my card but the whole time it was her computer, all this and we were rushing to leave to get...
