Casa Bartolo — Restaurant in Águilas

Tried twice. The first time was really OK- Saturday at lunchtime. It took a while to be served, but food came quite quickly and was tasty. Second time Sunday at lunchtime. Came thirsty and hungry and left not served after 45 minutes! There were plenty of free tables, but the service didn't catch up. I catched a waiter and asked to be served after 30mins of waiting. He brought one of two ordered beers, and this was it. I asked for a menu and didn't even get it. We left the place hungry and thirsty after 45mins of waiting. End up having a quick pizza in a restaurant nearby. Very disappointed. Poorly managed place. You should not have so many tables if you can not serve them! I am not sure if I will ever come back. I don't want to think about a backup place, in case they will not be able...

Great food, seafood is very tasty, delicious and at good prices. There is air conditioning inside the premises and a terrace. The service is good, fast, very attentive and they are very well organised. The prices are affordable and the quality is really high. They have traditional dishes from Murcia. The food is local, from la huerta murciana. Freshness is well noticed. The salads and ensaladilla marinera are fantastic. Even the bread is delicious. Well deserved a visit...

Llamamos a las 13:30h para hacer una reserva para las 15:00h de mesa y paella de marisco . Llegamos a las 14:45h y nos dicen que no está la mesa preparada,lo cual no pasa nada y esperamos. Volvemos a acercarnos a las 15:00 y la mesa sigue sin estar preparada, nos dicen cuál es la mesa ( que estaba libre ) y nos plantamos delante a ver si se acuerdan y nos la preparan, haciéndolo a las 15:10 más o menos, nos piden la bebida y decimos que tenemos una paella encargada, nos traen la bebido y viendo que la mesa adicional donde ponen la paella estaba coja la camarera toca la parte del suelo y la pata y sin limpiarse las manos sigue atendiendo. A las 15:45 viene el camarero a cogernos nota, y se hace el sorprendido al decirle que teniamos una paella encargada. A las 16:14 nos viene la paella y nuestra sorpresa es que NO SABE más que a tomate,aceite y ajo, el arroz sin ningún tipo de sabor, nos dejamos la paella entera, pedimos la cuenta y lejos de pedir disculpas por la paella o bajarnos el PvP o algo lógico viendo que no nos hemos comido la paella, nos quejamos y nos dicen de mala forma y girándose que es así como la hacen allí, cosas que dudo, debido a que estuvimos mirando reseñas y las paellas tenían buena pinta, nuestra conclusión es que se quedaron sin preparado e intentaron salvarlo sin éxito y empezaron a echar de todo AJO,ACEITE Y TOMATE.
