Old school Galician style bar with plenty of friendly welcoming locals and hardly any tourists. After 3 weeks of staying in A Coruña this was by far our favorite bar to stop by for a few glasses of wine. Armando and his wife are fantastic hosts. These type of places are going away so make sure you stop by and enjoy yourself among really nice people. Tapas are always giving out with a smile and try drinking out of the little cups the locals use.

I get all about being traditional, unique and all that. However to me looks filthy and not very well attended. I’m not a fan of watching wine glasses kept by a dirty sink behind the counter. If you don’t mind that, you can always go, prices aren’t too expensive. No card payments and obviously no tapa with the drinks unless you order it (as per photo below)

This was our second trip to A Coruña and this was a must-visit place for us when we came back! The place is small but totally authentically Galician. The tapas are delicious, service is charming and warm, and the atmosphere lively. There are hand-crafted cups for sale with Galician inspired designs, or you can order your own for 15...
