A wonderful lunch in a super casual and relaxed atmosphere. Please do not expect a linen tablecloth or fine china. This is a traditional restaurant with well prepared traditional dishes. The servers were pleasant and efficient. My wife and I noted that some other restaurants my force in more tables. We commend the proprietor for the current arrangement which allows for conversation and a pleasant atmosphere.

My wife and I shared the embutido variada which had a wonderful variety of cured meats and cheese, pulpo, and pimientos de Padrón. We also had a jarra of the house white served in traditional cups and which was of reasonable quality. The pulpo was perfectly done. A perfect choice if you’re looking for an authentic, non-touristic place in A Coruña. You will enjoy your meal while being surrounded by a lot of locals, many of whom gather there to play cards or watch football games. We got white wine served in bowls and octopus with bread (they didn’t serve potatoes on that day), and they were delicious! Not to mention that the prices are really good.
