If you’re looking for authentic local cuisine in Gran Canaria, this restaurant on the edge of the village is a true hidden gem! The atmosphere is incredibly charming – a terrace with views of the surrounding hills and the scent of fresh herbs in the air creates a truly Canarian experience.
The food is simple but absolutely delicious: • The soft cheese with homemade jam was pure poetry – slightly sweet, perfectly creamy, and beautifully balanced. • The salad with fresh tomatoes and avocado was outstanding – fragrant, sweet tomatoes paired with buttery avocado proved that top-quality ingredients make all the difference. • We were also served homemade bread, olives, and simple yet perfectly grilled dishes.
The service was warm and genuine – you can feel that this is a family-run place where guests are not just numbers but truly welcomed.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience authentic Canarian hospitality and food...
No volvería.
I do not recommend the place Bar La Palma at all, which offered us a return sandwich, the meat was supposed to be freshly cut. Apart from that, it was in poor condition, it smelled rotten and was acidic, nor does it use gloves, hat or mask which It is inappropriate for a restaurant and while I was cooking it was topping, it seems disgusting to treat the food this way and also a poorly made and small juice for three euros. I would not go back.

Both made fresh and delicious. The portions were huge and very well priced. The owner welcomed us and explained the menu in detail. Plus beautiful surroundings of the Agaete Valley. Definitely a hidden gem of...
