Rambla Cafe — Restaurant in Albox

We were recommended to try the Rambla Cafe and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely food, friendly, attentive waitress and reasonable prices. The restaurant looked clean and bright with a tea room vibe. As it wasn’t market day (Tuesday) we had no difficulty in parking nearby. On a Tuesday morning I’m not sure you would be able to park nearby due to the market but it’s worth a walk. Another cafe , another breakfast. Rambla Cafe is in the small town of Albox. We were really hungry when we visited so the only thing for it was to have a full Irish/English. The highly ornate ceiling had been decorated by the original owner who used the property to restore antique furniture and even though it doesn't quiet match the cafe decor it is plain to see it would be a sin to take away the gilded cornices and hand painted coving. Really excellent cafe with friendly and efficient service, happy to fulfil special dietary requests, and nothing too much trouble. Very clean and nicely decorated.
