Blush is a lovely place to go for a good meal out with friends. A nice warm welcome from the staff is a good start to the evening & we were shown to our table. The menu has a good number of main dishes & a selection of drinks are available from the bar. When the meals arrived, it was obvious that they'd been freshly prepared & the portions were of a good size. The food was extremely tasty & all of our plates were completely cleared, a good sign. The dessert menu was plentiful (& I would certainly recommend the apple pie, which, unusually for me, I was unable to finish due to it's size) The price of this, including wine & beer, not too expensive & worth every euro. Even given the lowest possible expectations when dining out in Albox or Arboleas or any of the expat communities in this area, Blush was unabashedly awful. First of all, the good news, the chips are great. However, the salad had as much in common with Cesar as Groucho Marx. A thin, off the shelf Italian dressing over a bunch of lettuce and chopped peppers? But the tuna! The tuna was simply inedible. We ate here last week after a family recommendation. We arrived as a party of 7 without a booking and were seated straight away by the very friendly staff. Drinks orders were taken when the menus arrived and the food orders soon after. The food arrived in good time and every dish we ordered was fantastic, tasty and good value. Last night we arrived as a party of 8, again on the off-chance. We we're again seated immediately by the friendly team, drinks and food orders taken in good time, and the food again was fantastic.
