S' Illiot Strand Restaurant — Restaurant in Alcúdia

WARNING. HAZARD. Don't go inside. It is the worst Restaurant I've been in the last 10 years. And I eat outside almost everyday. The food was just disgusting. Almost not eatable. The shrimps no taste at all. The bread for appetizer was from LIDL or any other cheap discounter. The Pasta with sea food, really?. Im happy my wive has no food poison!!!!! And now to the staff. The two women serving there, im almost speechless. Guys what is your problem. Why u want to destroy others people day. What u missing in life that u behave so bad to other humans? My wife moved her chair in the shadow. There was still enough place for going through the other tables. The waitress was rude to my wife, was rolling with her eyes and shaking her head instead of ask in a normal tone to move the chair back. The complete scene is hard to describe in words. Just ridicioulus and sad! Then the other women brought me the bill which I not asked for yet. No smile, no nothing. She wanted us out and let us know very clear. Terrible customer service! Extremely rude!

We arrived at 6.30pm to an almost empty terrace, but the waiter told us if we didn’t have a reservation we could only sit in the chillout area at the back. After first round of drinks we saw other customers moving to non-reserved tables nearer the sea, so we moved to an empty table too. Almost instantly, the waitress comes around and aggressively tells us we shouldn’t have moved tables, and brings us a mickey mouse chair from the ‘chillout area’ when most tables and chairs are still empty. When given constructive feedback, she reacts aggressively, shouting and finger pointing, saying this is her house and how dare we question the way she does things. She also tells us she deals with customers ‘like us’ every day, and this is her ‘home’ and she does whatever the freak she wants. If that’s the case she should be wondering what she’s doing wrong??? Incredibly rude, totally in line with other reviews. Finally, to add insult to injury, the waitress kicked us out!!

Wonderful place, lovely sunset, lovely setting and "interior design" is so welcoming. We were there end of July and beginning of August because I used to come here 10-15 years ago and remembered the food was delicious! Well food is still divine and the design got an upgrade. However I must say the service is sure ok, but not very warm/friendly or attentive to all their tables... Yes some get better service/more attention then others. I assume because they know each other etc. There was a kind of arrogance in the air... and I spoke in spanish, I am half spanish, so it seems they also threat their people like this.... I d recommend, go there, the food as I wrote, AMAZING, go with good energy, be nice to the employees and have a great time. If they are nice to you wonderful, if they are a little absent then politely ask what you need. I really loved the smoothies.
