Wednesday lunchtime, reserved table for a friends 65th birthday. Very busy and nicely decorated, staff initially attentive and broght drinks promptly as we awaited all the attendees. Bar area buzzing and the front part of the restaurant was fairly full. I had very nice andalucian salmorejo but there were 2 odd bits of bone in it, other orders included macaroni bolognese which wasn't that hot but very large. I followed with escalope which was nice looking but totally dried out, the dogs enjoyed a treat when we got home. Prices were good but service went a bit odd half way through as they were serving 2nd course before they cleared the first course empty plates. The restaurant is located in a strategically good place. Shell pump on the main road, parking for trucks as well as a large parking lot for small trucks and motorcycles. Había varios camareros y estaban muy atentos y venían constantemente para comprobar si necesitábamos algo y quitar platos. De tapa nos pusieron un plato típico de Alcalá que se llama Secretaria y es carne en salsa. Estaba muy bueno. Pedimos un plato de croquetas para los niños. Es inmenso, trae 12 croquetas. Del menú: Sopa de picadillo. Aquí la ponen con fideos. Paella mixta. Un pelín sosa esta vez. Secreto. Se pasaron un poco en la brasa pero es inmenso. Lagarto ibérico. Plato generoso aunque también demasiado hecho. Tarta al whisky helada. Pudin de pan. La cuenta total fueron 38 €. Comida a buen precio y abundante.
