I was that "cheeky guest", this is my profile that I use. you are not writing the truth, the waitress did not tell you the truth. she was asked to translate what dishes you serve, she could not explain in any language but spanish. my colleague and I moved to another table because it was cold by the window, we carried the wine, water, glasses, table setting ourselves on 3 occasions, she didn't bat an eye and only one gentleman was in the restaurant. she conspicuously talked to the lady from the kitchen and looked at the two of us while we were eating, we felt very uncomfortable. not once did she ask if everything was ok, except that at one point while we were eating, she brought the phone so I could talk to someone in Italian. what's the point of that when we're both already eating something we didn't actually order and we can't explain to anyone what we got? if you are already working on the image then at least try to have a menu in Spanish and at least in Italian or English. honestly to the end, we couldn't wait to leave and your employee couldn't wait to charge us for the air... thank you, you won't see me or my...
Read moreMy wife & I have cherished our weekly lunches at Da Luca for several years, and - of course - when Luca moved his restaurant to it's present location, we followed. We live 20 mins walk away. We have our favourites which never fail to please : For me the Carpaccio di Carne is brilliant, and so is the Penne al Arrabiata while my wife's favourites are the Taormina and the Nerone. Always welcomed and served as friends of the house, we like the informal atmosphere inside as well as the tables in the open. Price performance is excellent and the new location has been a success. Read moreRestaurante italiano y , como tal , me anime a ver que tal . Pedí unos espagueti carbonara y , al pedirlos , hice hincapié en lo que utilizaban . Es muy común que se utilice nata líquida, en vez de yema de huevo , y me quise asegurar que la elaboración era correcta . Me confirmaron que usaban yema de huevo . Al recibir el plato , bastante tarde por cierto , pude comprobar que los espaguetis estaba bañados en nata líquida . Por supuesto nada de queso parmesano y la pimienta negra molida la tuve que pedir porque , si es por ellos , ni gota . En cualquier meson segoviano me habría tomado una carbonara mejor así que ya se lo que tengo que hacer a la próxima . No pisar más por este sitio donde , además de no saber cocinar , engañan al personal . Por cierto , de barato nada . Un asunto “menor “ si se comiera bien pero que creo debéis tener en cuenta. En contestación a tu respuesta , y ya no va a haber más por mi parte porque no merece la pena enfangarse con tipos como tú , te diré : Primero : Que me faltas al respeto dudando de , primero donde estuve y , segundo , de la bazofia que comí .
