I recently had the pleasure of visiting this fantastic spot just a short journey outside Madrid. Easily accessible from the city center for just a few euros, it's like stepping into a serene oasis. The attention to detail in maintaining the space is remarkable. Everything from the layout to the cleanliness is meticulously cared for, creating a truly tranquil atmosphere.

These aren't just ordinary bonsai; they're exceptional, unique pieces, some even centuries old! It's a rare opportunity to see such an array of timeless beauty.

I recommend visiting early in the morning. Not only is it quieter with fewer visitors, but the light at this time is absolutely magical, casting a serene glow over the gardens. It's the perfect time to fully appreciate the tranquility...

This is definitely the best bonsai museum that I've seen so far. It's not huge but if you really appreciate bonsais then you'll spend 30-45min just appreciating the beauty of the bonsais. The entrance costs 3€ which is not bad in my opinion. It's also a great place to relax and I'm sure that if you take a book with you or you like to draw natural scenes then it's a very zen place to do so. It's obviously not in a centric area, meaning that is not close to the center or touristic area of Madrid, but if you have the means to go, then it's a good stop. But don't go out of your way just to go there, you can see bonsais at the botanical garden right next to the Prado museum. All in all a great stop to relax and enjoy an...

One amazing place. For me the highlight of the museum, except from the tree themselves of course, is the arrangement. Each tree is displayed on top of stones or aged wood, against neutral yet rich of fines details backgrounds. White gravel of different sizes and reddish soil on the ground. The contrast with the green of the plants is superbe. The staff is very kind and helpful. I will come back for a guided tour. The shop is small yet super cute with the mini plant compositions. Thanks to all the people that work there to keep this place in such well...
