Perfect little cafe with delicious treats Busy in the morning which adds to the atmosphere which is what I look for when I go abroad I like to avoid the touristy spots and find local spots with local people and this is one of the best. I dock a star for service but this is a general thing in Spain nobody here is rushing for anything and that’s part of the reason I love Spain but when you’ve got a day planned and you’re on a schedule it can get in the way a bit …. But then again I’m the one running around and if you’re a local spot for local people you’re gonna sort them out first so maybe I should dock myself a star for not...

Muy rico el desayuno, la pastelería parecía deliciosa, pero el trato fue muy grosero por parte de una de las camareras, pues al simplemente acercarme a querer saber si alguno de los cafés que había puesto en la barra era de mi compañero de trabajo, me preguntó ella a mí si era mi marido (algo completamente fuera de lugar) y literalmente me mandó a decirle que "no estaba solo en el bar", a lo que contesté obviamente molesta que no tenía por qué reaccionar así a una simple pregunta. Su jefe presenció la escena y la respuesta que obtuvimos de su parte fue llamarnos la atención a nosotros después por estar fumando de pie fuera de la cafetería esperando el café, lo que nos extrañó porque, hasta donde sabemos, esto ya no se exige, viajamos por trabajo por toda Andalucía, y jamás en estas fechas nos han dicho tal cosa, en ningún establecimiento. Pero dijo "que él era el dueño" y conocía muy bien la normativa, y que para eso tenía un cartel. Dicho cartel estaba en el escaparate de la pastelería, en la puerta de la cafetería no vimos ninguno. Pero es que además, una clienta que estaba sentada en un velador había estado fumando minutos antes sin que nadie le pidiera dejar de hacerlo. Todo esto nos disuadió de pedir algún pastel para llevar como pretendíamos, por excelentes que parecieran. Las buenas formas hacia clientes que simplemente preguntan son tan importantes como los buenos pasteles y desayunos. A pesar de que como dije, el desayuno nos gustó, no volveremos a este...

My daughter took me here for breakfast . . . early . . . which meant we got a seat straight away. Tremendously helpful staff (we were approached for our order withing a minute of sitting down.) This place bakes their own products so the breads are fresh and varied. The adjoining pastry shop gives plenty of fresh choice. Parking can be challenging (double parking is OK, just listen for the horn of the car that you have blocked.) Smoking area is...
