A Gem, and a one man show ( Benjamin). This is one of my favourite places in Alhama de Granada. Authentic, chill, and the dedication of Benjamin to his Jamon is unmatched around, it got the bar the nickname “ El rincon de BenJamon” The wine served is excellent . It has been a MUST stop on my regular walks. Highly recommend for a true taste of Andalusia.

Man muss etwas wissen und beachten. Das Leben in Spanien ist etwas anders. Wir kamen gegen 18:30 Uhr in der Bar an und wollten gern etwas Essen. Essen gibt es jedoch erst ab 20:00 Uhr. Vorher nur Getränke! Nach etwas hin und her bekamen wir trotzdem das erwartete Essen. Es bestand aus Brot, einem Schinken- und einem Käseteller. In manchen Kommentaren auf der Homepages steht etwas über unfreundlich, Wartezeiten u. ä. Vielleicht war es auch nur ein Missverständnis. Wir konnten uns nicht beklagen.

Increíble bar para comer o tapear, especialidad en el jamón cortado a cuchillo, tapas exquisitas y gratis con cada bebida. Terraza incomparable. Tanto el dueño, Benjamín, como el camarero, Esteban, son súper amables, atentos y educados. Por cierto, a quien le guste la cerveza éste es el sitio, está muy, muy fría. Sin duda, volveremos. Gracias por todo. Miguel y Lola.

Amazing food and service!!!! Came for lunch and then back again for dinner. Between 2 people for dinner we had 6 glasses of red wine, each round of drinks came with a different free tapas dish. We also ordered an additional 3 dishes from the tapas menu. All of this only came to 16 euros! This is a one man show and the owner could not be friendlier or more passionate about his delicious food, especially his jamon. I would recommend tasting the variety of jamon, carne en salsa, the chorizo and potatos but every single dish we had was delicious. Highly recommend for a true local Spanish...

We had the worst two plates of food that we have ever eaten in Spain. The chicken was under cooked and chewy and the chips were greasy, brown on the outside and completely raw in the middle. To make things worse, we were sat at a table next to the children's play area in the park and the smell of rubber in the heat was awful....
