When dining at Santiago's Kitchen, you feel like you have discovered a hidden secret. The Dining area is extremely cozy, and the staff are all smiles and very polite + they speak fluent english!
Honestly the food is so good, that you immediately want to go back for another visit! We had the green goddess salad, the asparagus tartlet, the carpaccio, and the duck salad. Everyone LOVED their starters!
For the mains, we had duck risotto, the halloumi dish and 2x aged steak, again we were all VERY happy with the flavours and textures!
My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer and try their exciting cocktail menu, I did get to try the Sangria though, and man let me tell you, it was delicious!
We are going back tonight, hope to try a cocktail or two 😁
Update: by luck of the draw, we ended up going our second time on a Tuesday, which is when they have their "Supper Club" with a set menu, for just 28€ showcasing a specific cuisine.
This time it was just the wife and I, for a date-night dinner, underneath the cozy lit cherimoya trees and we couldn't have asked for a better evening or treatment for that matter!
The theme of the night was Hawaiian food, and since I have never been, I can't speak to authenticity, but I can talk about flavors!
The chef clearly knows what he is doing! My wife and I are usually not fish people, but the fish taco was just too delicious!
Every dish we were served had a unique taste, but all of them well-balanced so you could taste the nuances. The porkjowls melted in the mouth, and every flavor in the 3-part desert complimented the others...
And now, the cocktails!
The certainly did not disappoint! These cocktails are not "boring sugar syruppy hotel cocktails". Instead every drink had delicious genuine fruit flavors, beautifully mixed, and served with care! If I had to pick a favorite it would have to be the Cava Sangria with fresh cuts of fruit and lovely sweetness and acidity, and if you don't have to drive afterwards, you can even buy it by the jug 😉
The service was impeccable, and we felt welcomed from the moment we stepped in!
Definitely worth a visit!
Go there before everyone finds out how amazing it is, so you can actually get a table.
Who knows, they might get a Michelin star in the future, I can't say I would be surprised.
My only regret this time, was not getting photos of all the food, but let's be honest, eyecontact comes...

The staff are amazing, and owners are fully engaged, and welcoming.
We have been going there since 2006, and I can honestly say we have never had a disappointing meal or bad service. Even when they are rushed off their feet, they have time for giving you personal attention and making you feel like an old friend.
We love dining in their garden, in winter or summer (well, we don't really have winter here!).
It was great when they were doing their “Around the World” set menu weekdays, but the set menu is for low season only. Can't wait for it to come back.
Food is amazing, creative, and beautifully cooked. The problem is I cannot give you specific recommendation because they do change their menu regularly, which is not common in this part of Spain.
We have had fish dishes, meat dishes, and vegetarian dishes. Every one of them has been first class. Ask for their...
Read moreGreat looking dining area in the garden, good food but very pretentious setup. It all looks 'high class' but does not live up to what it pretends to be. The hostess(owner?) was extremely rude and condescending to us for wanting to eat a smaller portion, she actually laughed AT us multiple times. In our faces. While making condescending remarks. We were just flabbergasted and can now laugh about it ourselves, such a strange experience to be had with a grown woman. We were glad to leave and I hope she got to sell our table again tonight. For this is not hospitality, this restaurant is all about money and pretence. I hope she gave our tip to the friendly youngsters that work for her because it was meant for them. Next time please tell someone 'no, sorry' with respect when they ask whether they can eat a smaller portion instead of telling them 'yes' and continuing to treat them with utter disrespect. Good luck...
