Have found this Indian restaurant, dining several times, knowing full well especially weekend to book. This visit was to introduce more friends, we travelled one hour and a half each way, as our area lacks a indian restaurant. On arrival message unable to take card payment, trough there banking having issues. Then our table was virtually outside as by the main entrance, still we found a alternative Indian restaurant close by extremely high standard and great food, this restaurant I will return. More traditional authentic food and bigger floor space as less tables on top of each other. Better experience to be honest, than having to rub shoulders with the next table. Not a comfortable place to dine, the food from out midweek no difference to the other Indian restaurant's within close reach. Just more comfortable to enjoy your meal. Can not understand unexpectedly this evening no card payment and from our last visit have brought the outside tables inside. As pre booked several day's no notice regarding there issues with there bank not taking payment, as we have done in our last few visits. Through this, shame we will not return, luckily finding a alternative restaurant was a disappointment travelling so far.

I appreciate your reply. Your explanation regarding non payment by card, seems to have caught several other customers out. An only a month ago, on my booking several days prior to arrival, you could of given myself a warning regards to this issue. Also reading through your reviews, a customer also agreed to my account of tables to close to each other. Sardines was there comments.. my first impression four months ago was a summers evening and midweek. My review was based on that evening an service. Still very busy, and having more space to enjoy the meal.. I guess you're attention towards your customer, through your choices not to except card payment, placing more tables inside and unable to hear your own conversation is more now not appealing to other local restaurant's. Still you know best, cram them more cash , hopefully for your supplier's, if from you're initial earlier months since opening, might affect your business and custom . Just to add, I belive a customer enjoyed your music, not sure from what noise I walked into any type of music could be heard. Good luck for your future. Myself and friends I have taken to your restaurant, I don't believe that they'll ever go back, under your changes within your own choice.. I certainly wouldn't return or recommend your restaurant Not the fact of the card payment . Just can't hear yourself, that's not a relaxing atmosphere. More a night club. Just don't understand your attitude towards your customers. Ridiculously run...

Having been here a year ago we were thrilled to be in the area again and return. Having seen my previous review I decided to order the same thing again - Hariyali Tikka - hoping it would be as good as before. It was divine. Admittedly I need the accompanying curry sauce that it comes with to complete it for my palette. So delicious. The level of spice was perfect for me. My husband's request of 'madras' heat was perfect for him too; something not easy to guarantee, we appreciate. And the garlic naan was hot, fresh and tasty too. The same can be said for the 'fresh' papadums - something we notice is not always the case elsewhere - and the onion and mint sauce dips. The men working there are lovely. I think that we had three of them, at different times, asking us if everything was good. 'Good' is an understatement. It was fantastic. Well done. Happy 2nd year anniversary. Long may this restaurant continue. It's a two and half hour round trip for us so we can't go as often as we'd like. Very fair pricing too - on both food and drink. A recipe for success!

Note: I'm not a wheelchair user but would say that the ladies' toilet was very...

I had chicken jalfrezi, asked for spicy, it was perfect, sauce delicious with lots of fresh ingredients. The other person in my party had chili chicken. Not so good. Odd glossy sauce and chicken pieces with skin on, either that or it was slimy with something. So one excellent dish and one not good. Service was very good, no complaints. Atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant (early, 6-7pm Thursday). At the end of our meal, I asked to pay by card, the waiter said "we prefer cash". So you expect me to have the inconvenience of going to the cash machine? That left a bad taste. I know it is currently popular for local businesses to make a stand against credit card charges. This is short sighted in my opinion and will cost longer term in lost business. In this case, the business states they take cards, so I expect to be able to pay by card, not feeling embarrassed and having to rummage around for cash at the last minute. My score is...

This restaurant gets even better every time if that's possible The service is always friendly and attentive. The food is simply the best in the area. We have 4 Indian restaurants within 5 minutes of home but we prefer to make the 30m drive to The Indian Garden. We are both vegetarians and I can highly recommend the vegetable pakora we had today, followed by an amazing vegetable Manchurian and vegetable Murgh Pathia. The guys here have accommodated us time and time again with creating a vegetable version of the main menu So a vegetable Dansak, Bhuna or Madras etc is no bother here. If you like chickpeas then the chana masalla is great. The chef will always give you the heat you want if you like things a little more spicy. I hope you enjoy the Indian Garden as much as we do.

Best Indian Restaurant in Arboleas! I eat here most weeks and the choice and standard of food is varied and excellent. The menu is extensive and food is nicely spiced and cooked to your preference. But what makes this restaurant outstanding in my opinion are the friendly staff and warm welcome they give customers on every visit. They are friendly , keen to please and very attentive! It is always busy and best to book in advance, so If you like a good Indian served by friendly staff, I highly recommend it!
