Restaurante Taj Indian — Restaurant in Arboleas

Just been to the Taj Indian Restaurant for the fiirst time at their new location. The restaurant is very well presented and the waitress was very helpful and pleasant. We ordered mains and side dishes, and had poppadoms while waiting for the food to be freshly prepared. The food was served and I can say it was amazing, we had opted for Lamb Tikka Main, Chicken Tikka Pathia and Aloo Gobi, plus breads. Flavours were fantastic. I particularly liked that curry dishes were served in individual balti dishes on a stand with candle so that the food remained hot in serving dishes. Dinner for 2, with a couple of drinks each was 50 euros, which was very reasonable considering quality of food, portion size...

I recently visited this restaurant Taj and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka — both dishes were absolutely delicious. The Butter Chicken was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, while the Chicken Tikka was perfectly grilled with just the right amount of spice.

What really stood out to me, apart from the food, was the service. The staff was incredibly attentive — someone checked in every few minutes to ask if we needed drinks or anything else, which made us feel genuinely taken care of.

Shame I can't give 4.5 stars. We went for lunch and had menu of the day. I asked what was mild and the waitress said they could do me a korma, which wasn't on menu of the day. When it came it was tastier than a korma, more like a dhansak. Only slight complaint was there were only a few pieces of chicken, however for the overall price it was still good value. Only 4 stars for service was because a diet coke was served when it was a regular one that was ordered. We will return. Hopefully the air con will be...
