Nuevo Trinidad — Restaurant in Arboleas

Would give more stars, but an uncomfortable experience for simple reasons. Despite being in one of the hottest areas of Spain the restaurant had only one small fan working and it was unbearably stuffy. We asked for another to be switched on which they did, but it was ineffectual. I could see a huge air con unit on the wall so was confused as to why it wasn't on - I know electricity is expensive, but people won't return if they melt! Food was excellent, only spoilt by masses of flies which wasn't the restaurants fault (although I can't understand why places don't have fly screens on windows and doors?) We all had something different yet it all arrived at one time, was hot and enjoyable. I asked for a small side salad as I had misread the menu, and was bought one straight away at no extra cost. Staff were ok - our waitress was herself melting in the heat and therefore a little short, and admitted she was forgetful due to being too hot. We couldn't blame her!! We didn't bother looking at the desert menu as it was far too hot to stay inside, instead taking our drinks outside where we all sighed...

Really don't know were to start the owners are wonderful people been there many times before but yesterday Sunday The waitress was so rude right from the beginning I didn't have a cold and to be honest I wouldn't have give it to my animals and her excuse Well we run out off everything yet our table was booked was with friends and family I get that they run out off food it was the waitress she was so rude up set my daughter and then when on to up set me all I ask for was coffees. Then I try to be nice and said look understand your stressed out I work in bar to her reply I'm not stressed and thanks for that. Will I go again I don't know will I recommend the bar no not now. My first time there, they were hosting a fundraiser for Age Support. I was just one of the acts but they were all so accommodating, warm and friendly that we stayed to eat (all the meals we had seen coming out looked so good) and we were not disappointed. I had steak pie. For a brief moment I regretted not having the seafood platter but O. M. G. it was superb and white chocolate cheesecake...O. M. G. Yes I am aware that's two O. M.
