Ordered from the menu del dia of which were many choices on offer. We were presented with a huge salad to share with bread before our starters. We chose gazpacho and salmorejo, chicken breast and pork loin and we finished with dessert of rice pudding with cinnamon and flan. All was cooked perfectly and nicely presented. Sharing plates were nice but the calamari was a bit too big, even sharing between 2. The mains came right away before we had the chance to ask for a break so the mains were rushed and a lot left over. Delicious food at good prices in the restaurant. Lovely small family run country hotel & restaurant. Beware... they don't provide tea/coffee facilities in rooms or hairdryers, also found it a little odd that the restaurant closed completely for Bank Holidays even when they had paying guests.....no food, no drink.
