I ate here last night with my wife and 6 year old son. We had a fantastic time! The place is off the beaten track and isn't in a particularly pretty area; it was full of locals and very few tourists. Our son has autism and can be loud and a little disruptive, but they did what they could to accommodate him and were patient and understanding. The building itself is basically a huge steel unit, like a farmer would use 😂. However, it's warm, cosy and has a fantastic welcoming atmosphere. The menu is large and varied; there really is something for everyone. Despite our shocking lack of Spanish, the staff did their best to help us. In my opinion the food is excellent and outstanding value for money. My wife and I ate and drank until we were bursting, and the bill only came to €64, we were both shocked when the bill arrived. We were more than happy to leave a tip for the excellent meal and service. It's so refreshing to find such a genuine and top quality place that's avoided the temptation to become a tourist trap. Thank you for a...

Was so excited to eat hear from the good reviews it recieved and the photos of the wood fired parilla which I can't find at home in the UK.

We ordered 1/2 chicken ,potatoes and tbone steak.

The chicken initially looked good, tasted ok, but was raw in some areas.

The steak I asked for well done, which it was, BUT, it had a very odd smell which I can only describe as "wet dog".. it also didn't taste like beef that had just been on a wood fired grill, I tried to eat it but after about 5 small mouthfuls had to give up.

I did pay for it all and left a comment at the till with the till operator who told me the beef came from abroad.

Moral of the story buy local and Check recent Google reviews.

Staff were very welcoming and attentive, atmosphere was ranchy, can't...

Delicious food and very affordable. Local food spot or 'huachinche' this is mostly grilled meat and a couple fish dishes. The ambiance is very simple, don't expect anything luxurious, it's basically three huge halls with tables, but it's usually full and you'll understand why when you try the food. The massive Kitchen that's basically a collection of grills is ther e for a reason. We had the grilled cheese which has a delicious smoky flavor, black pudding which is local style (that means more sweet than savory with raisins and almonds) and a few meats. All around favorite was the 'Secreto Ibérico'- delicious crispy outer layer with meat that melts in your mouth. ProTip: don't order the platter to share but instead select your own dishes to share so you'll enjoy...

Our recent visit to Rancho de Nino was a delightful experience that left a lasting impression. This guachinche in Tenerife offers a pleasant and laid-back atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to enjoy delicious Canary food. The ambiance at Rancho de Nino is relaxed and welcoming, with a touch of local charm. The staff is friendly, providing attentive service without being overly intrusive. The simple yet cozy decor adds to the overall appeal of this hidden gem. The menu at Rancho de Nino features a range of traditional Canary dishes that showcase the local flavors. We particularly enjoyed the gofio, papas arrugadas with mojo, and the grilled meats. The dishes were well-prepared, highlighting the freshness of the ingredients.
