My husband & I booked a 2 hour Beach horse ride through Dave's Excursions & were not impressed. First there was an issue with helmets. 4 out of 5 of us needed bigger helmets, as the ones provided were child sized, & one of the group was a child. This proved an issue for the tour leader, who was not prepared & had a limited amount available. In the end I made a helmet fit, but it was very tight & incredibly uncomfortable to wear for the next 2 hours. Secondly, there was no basic lesson given for riding a horse. A Spanish man explained, in Spanish, how to steer a horse. A 10 second instruction & then off we went. Starting out on roads with traffic, heading over to a rocky, desert like terrain. The horse someone else was riding had a problem with the horse I was riding & wouldn't let me overtake, it was quite aggressive & at one point my leg got trapped between the 2 of them, very painful. We had 2 staff members along for the tour, one at the front & one at the back. The lady at the front spoke English, but the gentleman at the rear did not speak English at all. We did not stop once to take photos or to have a drink, it was continuous for the duration in the hot sun. It was sold to us as a beach ride, but we spent about 1 minute along the coast, the rest was over rocky up & downhill terrain. Unless you are experienced or an INCREDIBLY fast learner, I do not recommend this. I have been on horses many times & have never felt on edge as I did today. To top it all off, we asked the office to book us a taxi, they said it would be 10 minutes. After almost 20, my husband went & asked for an update but the woman in the office sharply told him that she's already explained it would be 10 minutes & seemed more in a rush to lock up & go home. We waited in total 45 minutes for this taxi they had supposedly booked, but it still didn't arrive. In the end we booked an Uber, which was just under twice the price of the booked meter taxi. Overall a very disappointing experience & bad customer service. I cannot comment on the restaurant, as we did...

Booked a 2 hour coastal beach horse ride and it was absolutely diabolical. Not safe whatsoever unless you are extremely experienced. We tracked through hot terrain for 2 hours with no stop no water , on a skiddish horse that I could not control. A poor woman who was also on the tour with us was bucked off her horse , landing on her back, only for the guide to act like nothing happened , poor lady got back on the horse , (which I would have not done) and then later on had to call it quits and have someone collect her due to pain in her back. There was no English , no clear instructions on how to ride the horse. My horse kept trying to run and I was absolutely terrifed. They brought us through a busy road with traffic to which the horses became extremely difficult to manoeuvre. I began crying as I wanted to leave but the only option for us was to ride the horses back.

I thought went booking this there would be safety measures, apmeone holding the horse on a COASTAL walk, not through rocky terrain in the 30* heat on a horse that you cannot control with a group of 11 people and only 2 guides on horses one and the back and one at the front.

Can’t comment on the food because after that experience all I wanted to do was get as far away as possible.

Do not recommend unless you are skilled , a fast learner or don’t value...

Not happy at all with our experience. We had a two hour horse ride. Albeit the views being fantastic and myself being more experienced, for those with no experience just be aware that you won’t have any instructions or basic lessons to go a lap or 2 round the stables. Also just be aware that they have very few helmets which are mainly child sized. Both I and my wife wore helmets that were literally forced over the head. Very uncomfortable for a two hour ride. To top it off we tried to ask the ticket office to book a taxi which was meant to be ten minutes. After 15 minutes I politely asked if it was definately booked and if she could call again. They were one minute from closing and just told me to wait for it and that it was booked. 40 minutes later and nothing. So I booked an uber at twice the price. Considering we weren’t picked up at our hotel this cost me around 200 euros. There isn’t a stop to have a drink and your expected to drink as you move. Also the horses looked exhausted before we started. I’ve done many horse riding experiences and this was no where...

Do this excursion!! We had not heard about this before arriving in holiday and we just happened to pick up a leaflet at one of the excursion vendors. It’s brilliant. Free mini bus transfer and really warm welcome on arrival. The meal (and we are fussy eaters) was brilliant with cheese and pâté, bread and soup, MEAT!! (lots of BBQ meat cuts, all really really nice) and then a dessert. Choice of drinks are also included. After dinner you are shown to an outdoor seating area where you watch the show. It’s a great show translated in Spanish and English. There are no hidden extras - we didn’t spend another cent after paying for the excursion, everything is included! Expect to pay around €50 for an adult - but it’s worth it!

We were suggested to visit from our hotel owner. Outside the tourist areas, it got full with locals while we were there. It is a great spot for meat lovers. Food was good and plenty, the 2 people BBQ platter could feed 3-4. They also are an equestrian centre. Service was exceptional. We paid 64€ for two starters, the huge platter, fries, one litre of sangria, two cokes and two desserts. We asked for a doggybag for half the food. Big parking lot in the premises.
