Oliver's Out of Town — Restaurant in Arona

We arrived tonight at 6.30 for our long-awaited booking (booked way back in August, after realising the wait list for this place). It felt like arriving at your favourite aunts for dinner, with a lovely greeting at the door and shown into a character full, quaint, beautiful, homely restaurant. Lovely way to start the evening. This was followed by faultless food and service. We started with the Mexican meatballs (served with a shot of tequila...thank you very much 😉) and a goats cheese and beetroot salad, both beautifully presented. The crunch and lightness of the meatballs were met with a flavoursome taste and the gorgeous presentation of the salad didn't stop there....delightful! Veggie hubby opted for the goats cheese and onion tart for a main, and I opted for the brisket.....what can I say....again, both meals full of flavour and care and attention paid to every morsel of food on our plates, finishing off with the white chocolate malteser cheese cake with 2 spoons. Easily the best meal we had on our annual trip to Tenerife.....why or why has it taken so long to discover this gem of a restaurant?! Did I mention the setting? Set in the hills beyond Los Cristianos, we just managed to catch the sunset as we arrived....stunning. the bill came to EUR93.00, including our beer and Aperol Spritz.....best value for money we spend this week. Hidden gem Have heard for many years how good their previous restaurant was but never managed to get a booking. However I attended at their new premises in Arona. I heard previous reviews about transport to and from the restaurant Cathy the owner arranged for us to be picked up. On arrival we were met by Cathy and when shown to our table she explained the full menu and gave us time to make our choices. It was a set menu two courses for €24.50. The choices were brilliant and seemed to cater for all tastes. They also had bottles of white and red wine as wines of the week for €15. Well worth the money. Although this is a small restaurant it was full. Well worth a visit for anyone looking for a special occasion meal. Just book in advance. Cathy and her staff are outstanding at take the time to ensure everything is ok with your meals. Will definitely book a table the next time we are...

We had an absolutely outstanding experience at Oliver’s Out of Town! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome that instantly made us feel at home. The service was amazing from start to finish – friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel wanted throughout our visit.

The food was simply exceptional – full of flavour, beautifully presented, and the portions were more than generous. We couldn’t believe how reasonably priced everything was, especially given the quality of the meal and the overall experience.

The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the stunning views really added to the charm of the place. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets everything so right, but Oliver’s really did.

We absolutely loved our visit and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, great service, and a truly memorable...
