Wow! Yes, just WOW! To understand and feel the vastness and beauty of Spain, this is most certtainly one of the very best places to come. There are some occassions when it is possible to understand, feel and fully appreciate the power, beauty and love of Mother Nature. I have no idea why she tolerates man. The views and location of this hotel/Restaurant are beyond words, just indescribable. It's easier to visit and realise how small 'man' is. Let us say, we only visited the restaurant which is why we have rated the rooms ... the ONLY reason. The food choice is as all restaurants should be, a good choice, but not extensive, focused on what the Chef is excellent with. It's clearly food that has been cooked with passion and care, then presented on the plate by an artist. It's brought to the table by people who know what they are delivering, they know how good it is and the customer comments that they are used to getting. Not complacent, but appreciative and excited for you. Exceptionally friendly people. The ambience is felt by customers, but created and delivered by mother nature. From every single part of the restaurant room, the view of the mountains adorned in glorious forest displaying every shade of green known to man, rugged rock faces, the 'White Village' all against the backdrop of a stunning blue sky (when we went). We were fortunate to have been given a table by the window, but in retrospect, the view was out of this world from every seat there. It's a view that I imagine millionaires enjoy a lot, being able to afford anything. It's a view that non-millionaires can enjoy at this restaurant. The owners haven't set the prices to account for Mother Nature's garden, they've set, prices affordable to almost everyone (even just once) who might cycle, ride or drive by. Our lunch, which more than satisfied us, was euro 50 ... putting the Aston Martins and Porches parked outside, on an equal footing with the audi's, vauxhalls and my old friend in the car park. Inside, it didn't matter if you were a rich person or not, everyone could enjoy and eat the food artistry on offer, was met with by the same friendly people and superb service. Everyone was made to feel like an equal member of the family. It was really, a lovely experience. Worth so much more than 'money'. In summary, this is a Bucket-List restaurant, with a view and experience of Mother Nature and Spain's rural space that money simply...
Read moreDisappointing. After reading good reviews we were excited about eating lunch here, only to be rather amazed by how rude the waitress was - the most unfriendly treatment we had on our week-long walk around the Serranía. They were also hosting a rather ridiculous racing car meet up for rich people when we were there. Felt like we had walked into a Gucci convention - comedy value if you like people watching. Food was quite expensive but good. Service fee is €1.50 per person. Views nice, but honestly I would instead go to one of the two other bars up the road which no doubt are friendlier, cheaper, and dont glamorise...
Read moreWonderful place and I highly recommend to stop by for a quick drink or a meal! The location is incredible, very convenient to stop by as they have great parking lot, easy to drive in and out. The service is exceptional!! They have wonderful inside dining room, but also there is outdoor terrace with views. For those needing to crash somewhere overnight, this place also offers very simple rooms for a great value that include breakfast. I would book directly with them to support and avoid platform...
