I booked this restaurant at the last minute on the strength of the Google reviews, but had second thoughts when we arrived. Its a small unassuming place on a v small side street, and there was only one other table taken, not a good indication. But the welcome was warm and we were surprised at just how good the food was... We had the special pasta of the day, with a rich cream/mushroom/cheese sauce, a huge juicy steak cooked perfectly with a deep rich beef sauce, and a generous serving of pork, again cooked beautifully... What a gem! When we decided to try Anyma we had high expectations but I was not expecting the best Italian food that we have eaten anywhere. Food exceptional, service excellent and priced reasonably. Wonderful authentic Italian restaurant with sophisticated, beautiful dishes. Caprese was done in a unique way and the best we’ve ever had. The bruschetta was perfect, and a twist on the classic carbonara was fantastic. Only thing I regret is we didn’t save room to try the tiramisu! We shall gladly return!
