Very pleasant lunch. Service was good and the place was packed, impressive for a Tuesday in mid February. Though it seemed to be half day in Bedar, so that may have swelled numbers...

Lovely sunny day with a beautiful view.

Wife had prawn cocktail and grilled chicken, I had fish soup and lamb chops, large portions so no room for dessert. All very nice. The salads looked particularly nice. I would have opted for the shoulder of lamb but it is for 2, and she does not like lamb...something to do with Jodie Foster she says, not sure what means...

Bedar is a lovely village, well worth a stroll.

We visited yesterday for lunch with family. I had seen a great review from someone on a local ( fuente Alamo ) FB group. We had been to Mojacar first and it was about a 20 minute drive from there. Definitely worth it. We had a table on the terrace. Stunning views with a fresh breeze. The food was top notch ( paella/pizzas) Even the alioli was a cut above. The entire restaurant was spotless. Four of us (Brits) had lunch in mid-November 2024. The service was excellent. The clientele were mostly ex-pats. My friend and I both had solomillo de ternera and it was really excellent. We asked for "rare" and that's how it arrived. Often Spanish restaurants struggle with the concept of a "rare" steak, but not here. The ladies both had mixed fish which was also very good, not to mention their enormous plate of chips. The deserts were typical for Spain. Overall, a great meal....
