Banys Vells — Restaurant in Banyoles

Beyond terrible. We booked a table in advance for a large group, and waited 15 mins to be seated. We then waited another 20 mins to have our order taken. Only half of our tables food arrived after an HOUR AND A HALF after taking our order. When we politely asked when the rest of our food would arrive and explained we’d been waiting for a very long time, the waiter became immediately aggressive, shouting at a pregnant woman in our party that we needed to see things from his perspective and that it’s not his fault. We ended up cancelling the rest of our food because we didn’t want to wait another hour. The food that did arrive was gross…burger buns that tasted like pure sugar and probably have a shelf life of 10 years, and deep fried chicken gristle. Totally not worth it - avoid at all costs. You may as well get a nice picnic and go to one of the many swimming areas around the lake where you won’t be shouted at by obnoxious staff for daring to ask where...

Aquesta tarda he anat amb una amiga a fer un mojito, com podeu veure a la foto, el mojito estava molt bo, el preu molt correcte i el servei molt bé, abans de marxar com tots sabreu normalment t'aixeques de la taula i pagues a la barra en comptes del cambrer que et serveix, la pobra cambrera ha sortit corregent darrere nostre espantada pensant que no havíem pagat, i jo molt trenqui-la i molt amable li he contestat que he pagat a la caixa, la taula 305 a una noia rossa, ella ha tornat endarrere, i en comptes de comprovar, ha tornat a sortir corrent pel passeig cridant a crits que no havíem pagat, amb ell l'acompanya un noi amb patinet que assegura que és l'encarregat i que no hem pagat, davant de tota la gent mirant, dic que sí que li preguntin a la noia, i em diu que torni a comprovar jo mateixa, li contesto malament, perquè no són maneres quan jo el primer cop ja li he dit que havia pagat, no crec que marxi sense pagar caminant tranquil·lament dic jo... doncs amb males maneres torno al lloc mentre l'encarregat em segueix amb el patinet dient que he tingut molt males maneres de parlar, i li dic que això no es culpa de la noia, però que heu de comprovar tot abans de dir-li algú que ha marxat sense pagar cridant al mig del passeig de l'estany ple de gent, vaig a la caixa i la noia rossa li dic em pots dir si he pagat o millor li pots dir aquests dos que jo he pagat si us plau, i em diu no deus res en aquesta taula, la noia, la cambrera amb els ulls plorosos s'amaga cap a dins de la barra amb la vergonya, i en comptes de l'encarregat donar una petita disculpa pel tracte i les maneres a sobre em diu que no em ve de tant fer 50 metres per comprovar que he pagat, i li dic si portessin un bon control de tot, aquests 50 metre, mels podria haver estalviat, i en donar-li l'esquena per marxar només el sentia que es queixava, en comptes de rebre jo una disculpa per la seva part per un error que no es culpa meva, espero que posin mesures sobre el sistema de treball, o almenys facin que aquest encarregat no es dediqui més de cara al públic, perquè amb els clients té molt poc...

Could be a good dining/sunsetting/cocktails place, but to me the pool bring greasy atmosphere to it, as there are a lot of teenagers and kids in bath suits, the floor is wet, bathrooms are dirty and messy. Changing rooms can be cleaner as well. Poll is free and overcrowded, I won't allow my child to splash in here with so many people, duck swimming near by and fish as well. Especially during covid times it doesn't feel safe. There are few young couples on a first date in here, but it could have been a fantastic dining-date spot for middle...
