I'm generally not a big fan of pizzas; I often find most doughs too thick and heavy, which usually leads to me leaving the crusts behind and feeling a bit guilty about the waste.
However, these sourdough pizzas were a real game-changer! They were (still) quite thick but felt light and crispy, and I didn't feel uncomfortably full after just a few slices. In fact, I considered ordering a second one! So far, I've only tried two types – the ham, and the mushroom & truffle pizzas – and both were absolutely bursting with flavour... simply delicious!
The service here is warm and friendly, and the beer garden is a fantastic spot to unwind and soak in the more tranquil hills of Barcelona.

The pizza base was unreal, my wife even said it's the best pizza she has ever had. The focaccia base was soft in the middle, crunchy at the crusts and the freshly picked toppings were so punchy. The focaccia sandwich was brilliant too.
There is a lovely outdoor terrace, with fresh herbs growing, and plenty of tables.
Tony was welcoming and happy to have a chat with us. We'll be back soon, but next time, we'll stop for a beer too.

I have tried pizza in Naples and Manchester where the market is very competitive and this spot has made it to number 1 for me. The owner explained very passionately about how they ferment their dough for 36 hours and that it is a focaccia base which really stood out for me as a fantastic combination.
