Absolutely delicious! 👌🏼 Our B&B hosts recommended this place so we drove past to see it during the day - it was closed and didn’t look all that. We booked anyway given the recommendation - glad we did! Come night time they close the street and put tables out for patrons to dine on the road - brilliant! The food was delicious - the husband does the cooking and the wife does the serving. Hence it takes a wee while but defo worth it and spaced nicely so you don’t feel rushed. We got there early and glad we did 😅 (we are early sleepers! Lol) This is not your standard Spanish tapas and it’s in the middle of a small town with few restaurants so the price is very reasonable. You pick 5 tapas (20€ each) everyone at the table shares. This includes desert Will 100% be visiting again!! Muy bien 🤌🏼

Probé su menú de cinco tapas, que costaba alrededor de 22 euros por persona. La presentación de las tapas era impecable, con una elaboración cuidada que podría competir con restaurantes de mayor categoría. Cada plato estaba bien montado, con una estética atractiva que generaba grandes expectativas antes de probarlo. Sin embargo, al degustarlas, la calidad y el sabor no cumplieron completamente con mis expectativas. Personalmente, las tapas que más me gustaron fueron el brioche de carne mechada y el taco de frigatell, que realmente destacó. El brioche tenía una textura esponjosa y un relleno bien logrado, con un sabor equilibrado y una cocción adecuada de la carne. Por su parte, el taco de frigatell sorprendió con una combinación interesante de ingredientes y un toque especiado que aportaba carácter al plato. Sin embargo, aunque ambos fueron lo mejor de la noche, les faltó un punto extra de intensidad en los sabores para convertirlos en tapas realmente memorables. En contraste, la peor tapa de la noche fue, quizás, la ensalada y el bocata de panceta, que no lograron impresionar. La ensalada no ofrecía nada especialmente destacable en cuanto a sabor o textura, y el bocata de panceta, a pesar de estar correctamente elaborado, carecía de un equilibrio en los ingredientes que hiciera que su sabor resaltara realmente. En ambos casos, la falta de un elemento diferenciador hizo que estas tapas pasaran desapercibidas en comparación con otras opciones del menú. En resumen, aunque el restaurante ofrece una presentación y una elaboración de alta calidad, la falta de intensidad en los sabores hizo que la experiencia no fuera tan memorable como esperaba. La apariencia de los platos genera expectativas altas que, en algunos casos, no se ven reflejadas en el sabor final. No obstante, el brioche de carne mechada y el taco de frigatell fueron los puntos más destacados de la noche, demostrando que el restaurante tiene potencial si consigue mejorar la potencia y el equilibrio de los sabores en todas sus tapas.

A very rustic and nice atmosphere in this restaurant if you want to taste Valencian food and drink. Highly recommended, the tapas menu is great and the people are nice. You can choose the tapas menu for €18 which gives you a choice of 5 tapas between two people so that's €36 for two. Then they bring them out one by one so you have little breaks between them, the portion sizes aren't big but the taste is really really good, and the wines are nice too. It has toilets and a disabled toilet, parking is not on the doorstep but it's easy to get to from the town square if you park there.

A small upmarket restaurant dedicated to high quality and beautifully presented food. It's been several years since I was last in the area to pay a visit. Whilst the approach to the creation is a little different, the food remains top notch.

New from last time is the introduction of several ""tapas" menus from which those at the table choose 5 from a number and variety of options. It's best to think of these as individual small courses that encompass a variety of styles rather than what is offered a tapas in bars along the coast. These were all wonderful, but if there are more than two of you then it's best to work through the menu and make your choices before arriving because you need to order and agree on the same five things for the whole of the table should you go with one of the tapas options. Recommended and I'm already yeah looking forward to my return to Spain...

I have eaten here several times with no complaints. However, last time I went with a friend and we were both ill during the night, and it was the only food we shared that day. Obviously, it is impossible to prove that we were ill as a result of the food, but it was not a virus as after 24 hours we were both fine. I thought it responsable to contact the restaurant to inform them of our experience. Their reply was defensive, almost rude. A few weeks later another friend asked me to book a table there for a small group of us, which I did online. My booking was cancelled. I tried again. Cancelled again, followed by an email to say they couldn't accommodate us due to "food allergies". They'd never said that in the past, so clearly I am no longer...
