We booked this hotel as we wanted accommodation on the outskirts of Valencia city with easy access by car and free parking. It fitted the bill perfectly as far as those requirements were concerned. The hotel has a pleasant and clean entrance, but our initial impressions were thwarted by the receptionist, who, whilst not rude, had no interpersonal skills. She did her job, but we were left feeling rather like we were paying a utility bill in an office rather than being welcomed to a hotel. Not great. The room was clean and tidy and contained a fridge. The bathroom was also clean. The bath was small, but there was plenty of hot water. We weren't in the hotel during the day, as we spent the time in Valencia. We were made aware by the receptionist the the restaurant was closed that night, so we assumed after a long day in the city, we would dine in a nearby restaurant in Beniparrel. There was little choice of venue, so we drove to the next town and bought provisions from a supermarket to eat in our room. I had a good night's sleep...the beds were fine. We didn't take the option of breakfast, so checked out by eleven. The receptionist was as 'delightful' as ever on paying our bill and departing. I wouldn't stay here again, as there is so much else on offer in the region in locations with great cafes and restaurants nearby. You...

Read moreHave to say that broadly I agree with previous reviewers. It’s not a hotel but a hostel, probably not much difference, but it’s there. The reception staff really couldn’t do any less then they did and were very grudging with any help. No wifi info given. The room was actually okay and the bathroom was fine. We both slept well and it was comfortable enough and very clean. Parking is close by. Big plus was that it is dog friendly.||The catering arrangements were shocking however. Firstly when we booked in we were told that due to party bookings in the main halls, i.e. a wedding and another event, there was no evening food or drink available. Despite seeing there were other restaurants in the immediate area, none were prepared to accept a walk in without a reservation. We ended up eating late night tapas in a bar just up the road from the hotel. At breakfast, we had to ask as the restaurant areas were still not open. We were directed to the scene of one of the previous nights parties. Not a problem in itself, other than they were sweeping up around us as we sat. The food was basic but acceptable with great orange juice and coffee.||All in all, cannot recommend this place unless you HAVE to be in Beniparrell, or need somewhere cheap and quick just off the...
