Hi, I ordered the monkfish dish during my visit today, and unfortunately, I found multiple worms throughout the flesh of the fish. I’ve attached a photo for reference.

I understand that certain wild-caught fish can naturally carry parasites, but proper cleaning and preparation (including freezing or thorough cooking) should prevent them from being present in the served dish.

I stopped eating it immediately out of concern for food safety. I wanted to bring this to your attention in case there was an issue with the fish supplier or preparation process.

I’d appreciate a response and hope this can be addressed appropriately. Thank you for your time.

We were a bit worried by some of the one star reviews that we read here. However our local host insisted it was the best seafood restaurant in Spain. We were not disappointed! The food was not just delicious but incredible. The tuna tatake was one of the most delicious and filling meals I have ever eaten, and all at a reasonable price. Teníamos reservado la mesa y no hemos tenido que esperar, y preferimos meternos en el salón ya que la terraza la tenían con mucha gente y si no, tenían que mover a gente que estaban tomando una cerveza. La comida muy buena, como siempre pero el servicio pésimo. Pedimos una ensalada marinera, txipis a la plancha, pulpo, zamburiñas y bonito a la plancha con pimientos rojos, para compartir 3 personas, con vino tinto, txacolí y agua. Todo muy rico pero el problema fue que nos llegó primero la ensalada y el bonito y antes de poder terminar de servir la ensalada, teníamos el pulpo y los txipirones. Todo a la vez, sin preguntarnos nada. Y porque dijimos que parasen de servir platos. Luego nos ignoraron y no nos trajeron las zamburiñas ni nos volvieron a preguntar si queríamos vino, agua o pan. Nos quejamos y por lo menos se han disculpado. También pretendían cobrarnos las zamburiñas que no habíamos tomado. Conocía el sitio porque había venido varias veces y siempre había tenido buena impresión. Creo que no les ha gustado que compartiesémos los platos, aunque cada cliente es un mundo y se debería respetar. Solo digo que un mínimo de espera entre un plato y otro, es lógico ya que nos hemos comido los txipirones y el pulpo frío, además de los problemas digestivos que puedan ocasionar, y más llevando a una persona mayor.
