This place is great. It is local, settled in a small valley where you can sit in a green garden and watch the mountains, drink great red house wine and eat some delicious food. As there are more informations available on their website, you can read more about it there. Ordering is not difficult at all (if you are not a spanish speaker), the service (owner?) is very polite and 'easy going'. On a place like this do not rush... We have eaten local meals, prawns and a goat stew, which is great, and at the end we ordered typical desert, called 'Urugayan Powder', which is delicious. The prices are great, for two people ordering a main course + some deserts + drinks, you will be around 35-45€.
Anyway, the place is nice, clean, shaded, there is a lot going on around the restauran t (it is a small farm i think), and maybe there is more to ask if you are interested to know more about this place, i think they will gladly answer. We would come back at any time. Consider...
Read moreIt seems like a nice place but the server was quite rude, told us to wait 20 minutes for food and didn't even give us a menu after we sat down and waited. He didn't even look at us. He seemed very unfriendly not wanting foreign tourists.

Receiving attention, and the menu of drinks at least is part of that. And maybe not to receive a very unfriendly look. That's customer service. It's what you receive at any other regular place.
So after waiting 5 minutes and after the server was on the table right next to us not giving us any hint of attention, I decided we should leave.
It's a pity because it seemed like a really nice place but we didn't feel welcomed at all. Waiting for food 20 minutes is fine but waiting for drinks or any attention for 20 minutes...
Read moreThe place is really cute with terraces and plants. We ordered a tortilla which was so overcooked that it felt more like an Italian frittata. It's a pity because we saw pictures of chickens and saw they sell eggs so we assumed it was going to blow us away - that wasn't the case. The chorizo & chickpeas dish was very good. Flavourful and not too salty, we were very happy with that. The prices are higher compared to other tapas bars we've been to, not sure the food justifies it though. they don't accept card payments so make sure to have some cash with you if...
