Tasca Baracán — Restaurant in Buenavista del Norte

We wanted to have coffe and drink with our child. There was 4 empty tables, but the waither said we cant seat over the table if we dnt eat, we should go on bar ... It was not comfortable for 18mth kid. He said we cant seat on table because covid, they need to clean it ... I thought its they responsibility .... So ... If U want have only coffee and ur with kids .... Dont go ... If U dont spend money for eating ... U r not good clinet!

The waiter was great and makes it difficult to write this review but the food was below average. It was not fresh or warm enough. Besides, we found 4 flies in total in the food. We had 3 in the salad, and 1 in the garbanzas (chickpea stew). The lettuce was wilted. The chickpeas were cold inside and they could have added more cod. The mushroom croquetas were good but the caramelised onion one was overly sweet (sugar sweet). The gambas al ajillo were boiling in water, the garlic needs to be more fried and golden, with more of an oil sauce than water. The place has potential to be better if there is more care and detail focus in the kitchen. We did not...

I've stopped by, at an unknown restaurant, for dinner, today. As luck would have it, i stopped at this restaurant, I RECOMMEND THIS TO ALL. I rarely am so impressed by food places and i have never written positive reviews.

However, This place was, by far, the best food i have eaten in a restaurant. The Chef's food was marvelous, the service was excellent.

The only thing i have got to say is: VISIT THIS PLACE , a meal of 4 with all the fixings and drinks cost us €133, But we felt it...
