Glace Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Córdoba

Best cocktail experience I had whilst on my mini tour of Andalusia, which included Seville and Cordoba.

Jose (the owner) is really passionate about his craft, and is one of the friendliest humans I have ever met. A great bartender who provided a super attentive service as well as great conversation. The cocktails were of high quality, and included a list of bar signatures plus some twisted classics.

The story behind the inception of his bar and menu are really inspiring, I definitely recommend this spot if you are visiting Cordoba, as you’ll learn a lot about the history of the city just working your way through the menu and speaking to Jose.

Desde el primer momento, este lugar deja claro que juega en otra liga. Tiene una atmósfera elegante pero cómoda, con buena música, luces cálidas y ese ambiente que invita a relajarse y disfrutar sin prisas.

El servicio es excelente. Las chicas que atienden son muy atentas, simpáticas y se preocupan de que todo esté a tu gusto, creando una experiencia cercana y agradable que encaja perfectamente con el estilo del local.

Probé el Turrón Ambrosio, con whisky Chivas, Mizunara de turron y miel de Córdoba. Es un cóctel original, con una textura cremosa y bien equilibrada, aunque su perfil más intenso no terminó de ser de mis preferidos, una cuestión de gustos más que de ejecución, ya que se nota el trabajo y la técnica detrás.

El Anhelo, en cambio, me pareció excepcional. Con Ron Bumbu, higo, acidez de fruto rojo, canela ,almendra, limón, PX y aove, tiene un sabor redondo, con matices tostados y un dulzor elegante que se mantiene en boca. Es un cóctel cálido, envolvente y perfectamente equilibrado.

También tuve la oportunidad de probar el Ron Teeda, un ron japonés de 5 años con notas de madera, frutas secas y un fondo ligeramente dulce. Un destilado distinto, fino y con mucha personalidad.

Además, el local cuenta con una carta de puros muy interesante. Elegí un Davidoff Aniversario, que probaba por primera vez, y me sorprendió gratamente: suave, aromático y con un punto elegante que acompañó muy bien a la experiencia.

En conjunto, es un sitio que destaca por su excelente coctelería, la calidad de su carta de destilados y puros, el ambiente cuidado y la atención cercana. Un lugar al que, si vuelvo por Córdoba, sin...

We only had time to visit one bar while we were in Córdoba, and we are so glad we went to Glace! The stories behind the cocktails and the thought put into constructing each one really made for a great experience. José was friendly and knowledgeable and even offered recommendations for other cocktail bars we might enjoy. We wish we had more time but we'll definitely be back!...
