Restaurante Los Trujales — Restaurant in Calamocha

My dad and I entered the place and asked if we could eat. We got a table and a QR to scan, no word said. I translated the menu through Google translate nearly 10 minutes later the waiter came by and when we asked for the menu of the day he said that was not An option (it's on the menu) , he said a few other food options in Spanish before leaving us, clearly annoyed. Afterwards we waited another 15 minutes before deciding to leave. Horrible experience .. we were treated like dogs. Worst part is we even tried...

They opened 15 minutes after posted time and the waiter didn't seem to know what he was doing and was drinking beer. They had one option for bocadillo. The bocadillo de jamón y tomate was okay but dry and not worth €5. Then, the waiter charged my card and said it didn't work, and we paid in cash. But the payment had gone through, but the waiter would not TRY to cancel the order when I called afterwards. Wish I'd read the reviews, but it is funny looking at all the 1 star...

De viaje paramos para comer y entramos en este restaurante. Las mesas de fuera estaban sucias y no invitaban a quedarse. Entramos dentro y, el que creemos que es el dueño, nos enseñó el menú del día y la carta y decidimos sentarnos y comer de carta. Los calamares congelados sin terminar de freír, gomosos e imposibles de acabar, el pan de la tosta y del bocadillo no se podía ni masticar ni cortar con cuchillo; en resumen: una comida pésima. Los cuartos de baño estaban sucísimos pero siendo la hora que era parecía no ser suciedad de solo un dia, tremendo. Pues para rematar, a la hora de pagar, pedimos la cuenta y (el que creemos que es el dueño) nos dice desde dentro de la barra (sin hacernos ticket) que son 45€. Al parecernos algo excesivo para los precios que hemos visto, le pedimos ticket y nos dice que tiene "la máquina" estropeada así que me dice que nos lo hace a mano. Nos hace una nota que suma 43.40€ (ya no son los 45€ del principio) y cuando vemos el desglose son precios muy por encima de lo que marca la carta. Se lo decimos y nos dice que son precios de la carta nueva. Como ya vemos que nos han visto la cara, le decimos que vamos a pagar los precios de la carta que nos han entregado y yo misma rehago el ticket para acabar pagando 37,30€. En resumen: comida pésima, restaurante sucio y nos intentan engañar...
